Sushi & Sashimi Workshop

Sushi & sashimi are now an integral part of German cuisine. Sushi restaurants have triggered a real boom in recent years and are now far more than just a trend. The enthusiasm for sushi knows no bounds.
This time we are setting new standards with our sushi workshop. You will get to know the entire world of sushi & sashimi. External sushi experts will introduce you to the world of Asian specialties. Our inspirations are designed to give you new ideas and inspire you to try out new creative dishes. In addition to traditional sushi cuisine, we also take a look at new forms such as coastal sushi, bowls and ramen. You will learn what to look out for in sushi. Which qualities are suitable? Which new products have we introduced especially for sushi/sashimi? You will try pulpo, tuna, land-based salmon, pre-rigor Froya salmon loins, Hamatchi kingfish, Japanese perch or Arctic char in sushi qualities.
In a 3-hour sensory training course in the renowned sensory laboratory of the Technologie Transfer Zentrum ttz Bremerhaven, you will learn and understand how to taste and distinguish different qualities. The absolute highlight of the workshop, however, is the location. As a participant in the workshop, you will be part of a select group that will be accommodated on the traditional sailing ship "Schulschiff Deutschland". This will give you the unique flair and experience of spending the night on the last German full-rigged ship and three-master. In the evening, our special sushi event evening will also take place on the "Schulschiff Deutschland". Let us surprise you! If the weather cooperates, you won't forget this unique evening in a hurry.
