Surf & turf is a main course that is particularly popular in North American steakhouses. In Europe, it is particularly popular in England. It consists of a combination of seafood and meat, usually lobster or crayfish tails or a wide variety of prawns.
We are expanding the topic here to include new creative surf & turf ideas for the catering industry and, in particular, for company and social catering. Two teams of specialists from Transgourmet Germany worked closely together and complemented each other creatively.
The topic was integrated into the seminar program for employees and customers at the company's own Seafood Academy. Fish & meat represent the center of the plate and are decisive for the appreciation of a dish. All variations are permitted in the surf & turf combination. The main thing is that the meat and fish are on the plate. We love this topic and hope to give you new ideas and inspiration.
