Germ-free, drip-free & odorless packaging is standard for us

Transgourmet Seafood works significantly according to the HACCP guidelines, in accordance with European Regulation (EC) 852/2004. For us, this means: hygiene at the highest level. An audited quality management system ensures top quality from the production of audited and/or certified suppliers right through to the customer.

All products are subject to the strict test criteria of our in-house quality assurance. In addition to the company's own quality control, the fresh fish is regularly tested on a random basis by a publicly appointed and sworn expert from an accredited and qualified testing laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.

Our quality management manual sets standards in the industry. State-of-the-art packaging that is low-germ, drip-free and odorless (drip-free polystyrene boxes, MAP trays for grilled fish and vacuum-sealed bags and trays for mussels) guarantees maximum preservation of freshness and enables problem-free storage together with other products in the cold store. They also offer sufficient protection against negative external influences during transportation and storage.

State-of-the-art technology for optimum storage and transportation conditions

The storage and transport conditions are decisive factors with regard to the shelf life and quality of fresh fish. The most important basis for this is a closed cooling system that continuously keeps the fresh fish at the legally prescribed melting temperature of 0 to 2 degrees. Styrofoam has both an insulating and heat-insulating effect, ensuring that the required temperatures are consistently maintained. Due to their light weight, the boxes are not only easier to handle, but also reduce transportation costs and offer optimum product protection thanks to the density and resilience of the material.
